Poll – Church Authority

We have formulated seven Pillars of Reform for the Catholic Church. They are based on the booklet “Christ’s Idea of Authority in the Church”.

They deal with these issues:

1. Women’s ordination
2. Pastoral Councils
3. Scholars, prophets, the ‘sense of faith’
4. Liberation from law
5. Accountability
6. Latent sacramental power of the faithful
7. Regional variation

We invite you to share with us whether you agree with these seven demands. The result of our survey will also show how much support there is for updating the exercise of authority in the Church.

The survey may also help you to focus on key reforms you may be able to promote in your own ministry and/or church involvement.
