Jesus Christ told his apostles to refer to the ‘ekklesia’ as the final agency to resolve conflicts. Throughout history the Church has recognised the authority of ‘sense of faith’ held by the People of God. The Second Vatican Council declared that the source of the inerrancy of faith lies with the People of God.
